BayMark Health Services announced the acquisition of its second opioid treatment program in Columbus Georgia. Since 2014, Private Clinic has been providing high quality, patient-focused medication-assisted treatment services. BayMark will continue to deliver that same level of quality patient care under its MedMark Treatment Centers brand, known to the community currently through our existing location on Wynnton Court in Columbus.
“I have worked with BayMark in the past, and knew that they were a great fit to continue the management of this program.” said Jonathan Connell, Founder and Owner of Private Clinic. “Our shared commitment to the well-being of our patients ensures that the level of care will be maintained throughout this transition.”
MedMark Treatment Centers provides outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opiate addiction and dependency. Medication-assisted treatment is the use of medications, such as Buprenorphine and Methadone, in combination with addiction counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide evidence-based, comprehensive approach to recovery.
David K. White, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer of BayMark Health Services, remarked, “BayMark’s mission is to provide comprehensive medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and improve the lives of the patients we serve. We will build on the foundation of excellence established in this program to continue that mission in the State of Georgia.”
