Clients receiving addiction and mental health services will notice an administrative change in their care beginning next month.

Consolidated Care Inc. will be acquired by TCN Behavioral Health Services, effective July 1, but patients will see no particular changes to their care, or fee structure.

“CCI decided to seek a partnership with another agency because it wanted the ability to provide a wider array of services,” according to a letter mailed to current CCI clients. “CCI conducted an extensive search within the region looking for that opportunity.

“Both CCI and TCN Behavioral Health determined that combining our collective resources would exceed clients’ expectations.”

TCN is a not-for-profit agency that has provided adult and youth services in Greene County and the surrounding area for more than 25 years. It has locations in Xenia, Fairborn and Kettering.

“The merger of our two agencies will allow for an expansion of behavioral health services and increases training and career opportunities for our employees,” Lori Strobl, TCN CEO said.

“Over time (clients) may notice changes within the agency as we make upgrades to the structure and decor of the office.”

Impact to clients’ treatment will be minimal. Treatment plans will be unchanged. Fee structures will likewise remain the same for individuals that receive funding through the Mental Health and Recovery Board.

Contact information will be the same for the time being, and “services we have provided in the past will continue to be offered after the acquisition,” TCN reports.

TCN is also planning to host a “community fun day” this summer to “introduce ourselves and launch the acquisition.”
