The $1.5 million sale of Albany, New York-based Living Resources Certified Home Health Agency Inc. and its licensed personal care services agency has cleared state regulatory hurdles and is one step closer to becoming official, according to Albany Business Review.
Marquis Home Care CEO Neil Zelman and business partner Eric Newhouse are in the process of purchasing the Living Resources businesses.
Marquis Home Care currently serves patients in Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, Westchester, Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Nassau and Suffolk counties in New York. The company provides a range of services, from home health and personal care aide services to consumer-directed assistance and companion care.
Marquis Home Care will deliver about 18,000 visits this year and expects to provide more than 34,500 in the near future, Albany Business Review reported.
In addition to his home care business, Zelman also operates eight assisted living facilities around the state.
