Nurses & Company, Inc. Announces Agreement with Home Assist, LLC to Transition Staff and Established Relationships to Nurses & Company Home Health Care

LOUIS, July 23, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Nurses & Company, Inc., a leading private and locally owned Home Health Care, Hospice Care and Private Services company serving the Greater St. Louis are for over 28 years, announced it finalized a transaction with Home Assist, LLC, a Lake St. Louis based home health provider. The transaction will transfer most of the Home Assist Home Health staff and many data-backed chronic disease management programs to Nurses & Company's Home Health division. Nurses & Company expects to add additional investment into these programs to develop algorithms and best practices to further benefit patients under the care of Nurses & Company. The company believes these programs can accelerate its home health market share in the Greater St. Louis area.

VNA of Ohio announces intent to buy Ideal Home Health Care

VNA of Ohio — a member of the Holmdel, N.J.-based Visiting Nurse Association Health Group (VNA Health Group) — is one of Ohio's largest home health, hospice and mental health care providers, offering services throughout 17 counties in northern and central Ohio, according to a news release.

Home Care Assistance to Acquire Silverado’s California Home Care Business

The San Francisco-based franchise company Home Care Assistance has entered into an agreement to acquire the California home care operations of Silverado, a large senior living, hospice and in-home care provider that specializes in dementia services. The agreement is effective July 8, Silverado confirmed to Home Health Care News. “Silverado has been looking for a long-term partner for our At-Home business as we focus the organization more fully around memory care, hospice and palliative care,” Loren Shook, CEO of Silverado, told HHCN in a statement. “I am pleased to report that we have found the ideal partner in Home Care Assistance.”
